Is this video series as good as it looks? I’m scheduled to teach a 9 week SS series on Ruth starting in August, but I’ve only done my initial planning and would gladly drop it…
Jay: I did it at my church, and it’s superb as far as the content goes. Tom Wright does not disappoint! It’s really an excellent series both for lay people and for outside inquirers of the faith.
One little warning, however. As you may know, the series uses dramatic vignettes to underscore Wright’s points. These vignettes vary greatly in quality, from moderately impressive to downright hokey. Bear with these, though, because the content is worth it.
