Baptism is pure liquid gospel. I love it :)

My 8th child will be baptized this next Lord's Day. Frequently reminding myself, my wife and children of God's pledges and requirements made at our baptisms has been integral to our family's sanctification. May the Lord bless you for your labors.

A good article but I fear both sacraments are terribly misunderstood so long as they are disconnected from the Holy Church (I use that title aa a Calvinist). To repeat myself: Unless the nature of the ministry of the Holy Church and a recovery of the Reformed view of the role of the Pastor (celebrant) discussions such as this have no natural linkage with the life of the believer.
Much has to be done to recover an ecclesiology worthy of our Lord.
