Please helm me.I am tortured into thinking I’ve blaspheme the Holy Spirit by saying F word in my mind against it.I was afraid to even right this much because of fear of being told my soul is doomed for this.Please explain to me is this a thing that has doomed my soul.I don’t wanna say that in my head but It is had to control thoughts.
- April 5, 2012 at 8:35 pm :: Blasphemy Against the Holy Spirit? :: Tarver, David
Now im 31 but when I was about 23 I cursed the Holy Spirit really bad. I just got out of prison not too long ago. I was locked up for 5 years and 7 months and everyday that I was locked up I felt like crap. I even had dreams that I was going to hell and they was so real and terrifying. I felt like crying my eyes out. Most days I would drag around feeling scared and depressed. I would read the same scripture...

Pr. Horne, aside from 4.16.30, where else does Calvin address p-comm? Also, I’ve been listening to Ken Gentry’s response to you on p-comm. Have you two ever met and buried the hatchet?
- March 4, 2012 at 2:04 pm :: God’s Promises to the Jews :: Mike
Very Greek in thinking…devoid of Hebrew thought (the very essence of which God used to bring forth His promises). Do we ever ask how a nation so small continues to impact the world so dispraportionately? Even today’s world. Think about it! There are only 14 million Jews in the entire world and their contributions to politics, business, art, philanthropy and so on continue to shine above gentile contributions....

I did blaspheme the Holy Spirit out loud one time out of anger! And I feel truly empty and I feel like a looser! But I remember my love for Christ and His Spirit! I have known them! Now I find myself constantly in the Word and The Spirit of God comes to me all the time! Even though I said curse words to the Spirit out loud before! So I am still not sure what all this means for myself? But I do find myself horrified...
- March 2, 2012 at 1:49 am :: Does the Church Really Exist? :: Gerald R. Collins
With all due respect for those who put there trust in the English translation, The church has never existed except in the mind of the church princes. Starting with the Catholic church and was modified to the present groups out side of the catholic church. The word Church is a fabricated word when it comes to the Greek. The translators were not satisfied with one mistake they had to created two to come up with...
- February 11, 2012 at 3:36 am :: Blasphemy Against the Holy Spirit? :: Dillon
After years of in and out of Love with Christ and the Trinity since child hood one day at 25 years old I yelled cus words about the Holy Spirit out loud out of anger! Then I was terrified for years and I was a mad man in the word and these websites! I was full of horror I felt sooo sorry for myself! Then one night while in bed I just broke down and with my faith in Jesus I admitted that I blasphemed to God about...
- February 4, 2012 at 5:49 pm :: Why Will You Die? :: Hiram Soman
When I was growing up, Saturday did not BEGIN until “Soul Train” came around the air! I not really know what personal hell drove one to take your personal life, Brother Don, but understand that you were–and always will be–loved and revered within my house FOREVER! Love, Peace, and SOUL!
- January 24, 2012 at 3:18 am :: How To Encourage Our Children to Believe the Gospel :: Frank Walker
An infant’s baptism replaces effectual calling? Where is the Scripture to support that? I don’t get it. And what if the parents were unbelievers and just did the baptism to get along? And what if the baptizing church was apostate by preserving the form but losing the truth and taught heresy about Christ’s work?
- January 17, 2012 at 9:42 am :: Why Does the Pastor Wear a Robe? :: Rev. Rawls
Praise God, in the loving memory of Jesus, we are to be faithful to the commands of God at all cost. As children we are commanded to be in tune with the guiding of the Holy Spirit, our Father God. In this same reference God is our Father, (the head, husband, masculine of the eternal kingdom and His earthly domain) the earthfully church has Christ as our King (again masculine), protector with the sword of truth,a...
- January 14, 2012 at 8:23 pm :: Calvin and the Efficacy of Infant Baptism :: Pip Power
Hi Rich, The Reformers WERE papists for a very long time! They were steeped in it! They did NOT make a clean break from Romanism! If the popes had agreed to Reform, many if not all would have stayed with her! My Christianity starts & finishes with the Word of God! After the Council Nicea it was down hill all the way, that’s not to say the rot was not already there in the Church. All we have to...
- January 14, 2012 at 7:53 pm :: Calvin on Baptism, Penance, & Absolution :: Pip Power
Hi, Did Augustine teach that unbaptized babies who died went to Hell? If he did, is this not the reason that Calvin taught Baptismal Regeneration? Was he not an Augustine monk, just like Luther? I think the Reformation was the Reforming of the Roman Catholic church, which was apostate. Most of the Reformers created State churches and have ended up looking like the Roman church today! The Scriptures...
- January 8, 2012 at 4:53 am :: God’s Promises to the Jews :: Gene
Jesus is God. Is God a Jew? Jesus was born of the Virgin, Mary, through the Holy Spirit. Mary had pure Israel blood and Joseph, her husband, was not involved in her conception. Consequently, Jesus was born of pure Israel blood and no Jewish blood was in Him. This means He was not and is not a Jew. Jesus had trouble with the Jews from the time He preached on the earth until His crucifixion. The scriptures tells us God...
- January 8, 2012 at 4:11 am :: God’s Promises to the Jews :: Gene
You are totally confused. Jesus is God. Is God a Jew? Absolutely not!! Jesus is in no way a Jew. That’s a huge misconception that many preachers claim. Jesus’ mother, Mary, was from the pure bloodline of the Israelites. She was conceived by the Holy Spirit, not by Joseph, her husband, so Jesus maintained the pure Israelite bloodline, and never had any Jewish blood in Him. The eternal promises God made were...

I have a thought disorder and suffer from anxiety. I am being treated for the malady. I sometimes do not have control of what I think. I Know that Jesus is the Son of God and I Know that the Holy Spirit is my guide and comforter. I Know there is only one True God. I have what is called intrusive thoughts. My Heart Believe in the Trinity, I do not want to go to Hell for something I cannot control. Will you help me...

Also if you are thinking, “I must have committed an unforgivable sin because God would not put me through this,” remember Romans 8:28: “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” You could be going through this because someone you know is and you will eventually help them overcome it, or so that you may see the...

This article really helped me understand. It quotes from the Bible to show that if you are drawn to Christ and are convicted because of your sins, the Holy Spirit is working in you. http://www.answers.org/bible/b lasphemy.html#FN02
- December 22, 2011 at 7:25 am :: What is the Worth of 666 Talents of Gold? :: Jon
I’d agree with Ron in the sense that “you cannot love both God and mammon”, and goes hand-in-hand with the difference between those sealed by God with the Holy Spirit (Ezekiel 9), who hate lawlessness, and the “man of lawlessness”, anti-Christs, those who are lawless, sealed with “mammon’s” seal, who are to be cut down like fruitless trees and destroyed like...
- December 12, 2011 at 8:14 pm :: Why Does the Pastor Wear a Robe? :: Jay Randolph
I use a clergy shirt. However I have just ordered my first robe. I had put a lot of thought and prayer into this. Wearing a clergy shirt, or a robe should tell people that you are a slave to Christ. I am no better than anybody. I am here to spread God’s Word and to share what he has done in my life, and what I have seen him do for others. As a Pastor. I am not the CEO of the Church, but only a servant of...
