The skull and bones without the brains

swastika

I had forgotten what kind of unspeakable, brain dead, evil rules this planet, so it was good to be reminded.

In passing, this guy blames the Monsanto suicides on population growth and global warming.

It gets better. He says the water table is sinking but that the only thing that has saved farmers has been a glacier that sometimes brings the sub-continent more water. But that glacier won’t be there to help out the Indian farmer much longer. Why not? Because of global warming.

Get that? Global warming means the glacier will just disappear and there will be less water for farming.

Yes, he said that to a Yale audience and, as far as I can tell, no one blinked.

This all started at the 21-minute mark. See for yourself. How an entire subcontinent can be characterized as having one “waster level” that is sinking at a steady rate is itself a riddle. But this is a really smart Yale guy, so I’m sure he knows some explanation.

why is it incredible to think that they might be using up all the water in a geographic region? Abraham and Lot found that their land was not able to support them both, and isaac was in conflict with the locals over their desire for scarce suitable wells. .

I find on wikipedia the number of wells in India has exploded “1960, there were fewer than 100,000 such wells; by 2006 the figure had risen to nearly 12 million”

You may be right. It just seems like a huge area. The real outrage is the statement that less ice will mean less water.
