Government Failure Day means Government Empowerment Day

Eleven years ago today our government massively failed in it’s most important hypothetical function, and as a result not one office-holder lost a day’s pay or even received a reprimand. Every single decision maker was given promotions and rewards and the US government was empowered to destabilize the world with unending and useless wars, to kill without even basic accountability or legal procedure, to herd and spy on us as if we were their livestock, and demand that we all be thankful for it.
