    I love this picture. Of course, I think some explanation of the exotic setting would interest your readers. I was also emersed (triple, just for good measure) and wish I had a photo from my baptism. I think the fact that you do have one shows something about even though you “were doing it wrong,” your parents were doing things right in the overall big picture of things.

    Jennifer, we appreciate your comment. Regarding the setting, I remember (and Dad/John confirms) that someone always had to be on the lookout for the resident crocodile when there was a baptism in the lagoon.
