Justin Taylor weighs in on Wright and the atonement. Excellent. I recently heard Piper speak [ugh, I originally wrote "pipe up" before I realized what I was doing] to defend Wright on the same issue. While I disagree with Piper (and Taylor?) on various issues related to Wright, it is wonderful to see judicious analysis rather than a hardened desire to throw every conceivable accusation against him to see what sticks. In this regard, while I get sometimes completely baffled by where Piper is coming from, I continue to see him as someone striving to be honest and upright in all his dealings.
And you have to love that.
yeah i saw justin’s link too and iam glad for it…but as soon as i saw it, i kepting thinking to myself that “Mark Horne has already clearly defend Wright, why wasn’t there a link to him instead of waiting for Dr. Hamlton?”.
