Gmail blues

I’ve been happy with google’s free mail for a long time.  But for almost a week now I have mostly either not been able to get gmail at all, or, had to use the html version (which I don’t mind in itself but it reminds me that something is still not right).

If you’ve written me tonight, I can’t read it.  Any other gmail users experiencing this problem?

You can use Apple Mail to POP your gmail. Just look online they have support info on how to do it.

I haven’t had any problems with Gmail at all since I started using it a few years ago. Every once in a while I might get a “try again in a minute” messages, but those are few and far between.

    My gmail is working fine.

Mine is fine, too, both on my PC and my (work) Mac. Have you checked to see if certain PCA presbyteries somehow got controlling stock in Google?

  5. Pete Scholtens Says:

Mine’s fine too. And I also recently discovered the POP option, which might be useful for you.

Definitely POP it into your local e-mail client. I’ve never had any sort of problem such as you describe, and I’ve been using it for a few years now.

I’ve had no problems, although my particular home Mac and its software are so elderly that all I can use at home is the basic html version.

I had a problem with my Gmail a little more than a year ago. I couldn’t get it at all for several days. Then, all of a sudden it began working again without any explanation. I have never had a problem since.

Whenever I have Gmail problems, they almost always go away when I clear my cookies. Suggestion: clear your cookies, authenticated sessions, and anything else you can think of… trust me, this works!
