Muffin the gerbil has gotten very sick today, and sweet Abigail is fretting over her with tears aplenty. I will not write much tonight, as I want to spend some extra time with my little girl…

So, so sorry, Abigail. Was Muffin the one that was sick before and had a surprising recovery?

No, that was her sister, Mittens. After a night, Muffin is much worse this morning – we talked to the vet and got some tips to help make her more comfortable, and Abigail is keeping vigil near her very sick pet.
