We have gone to get some Lab love on Lab rescue day at the local PetSmart. And yesterday we loved on the neighbor’s bulldog, which isn’t nearly the same. Fortunately for us, there is a cute little beagle who isn’t minding some of the extra attention he’s been getting.

Oh Rita I AM sorry! We have enjoyed getting to spend time with all these dogs, and knowing we are helping send them on to good homes is really rewarding. It has also been somewhat therapeutic for us as we deal with losing Sid. Maybe there is a Lab Rescue near you who would gladly send some Lab love your way if you needed some. :-)

What a pretty dog. It’s not nice of you to flaunt all these Lab pictures before me and my grief. :) Actually, I am so pleased with you guys for fostering these dogs. Keith and I are both of the opinion that it’s no accident the Lab is America’s favorite dog.

You did a very good job of making Gordon look impressive in these pictures! Next time Nicolas gets a little impatient, maybe you should remind him of Gordon’s patience despite a very hard test. ;)
