February 23rd, 2008 In Memory of Sid…
Today we said goodbye to our beloved Sid who has been a part of our family for eleven years now. It has been a heart-breaking day filled with many tears, and I cannot muster courage enough right now to properly eulogize our faithful dog. Instead I put together a little photo album, which shows some of the happy times we were blessed to have with him from 2002 till now. All the pictures from his first five years are on non-digital film and will have to be scanned at a later date and added then.

This breaks my heart. Hopefully you guys are all doing well and the kids aren’t too upset. We will miss you, Sid.

I’m sorry to hear of Sid’s death, as well. And I am dreading telling my children of it in the morning. They have always been fond of your fluffy doggie. We will be praying for comfort for all of you.

My heart is so sad for your whole family as you mourn the loss of Sid. It is a difficult task to adjust to a life that doesn’t include your favorite Teddy Bear and constant companion. Thanks for the slide show. It is a beautiful tribute to a beautiful dog.

Like Angie, I’m wondering to tell our kids about this. Ever since he stayed with us last year, every once in a while Sarah will ask “where’s Sid?” of whichever parent she can find.
I know this question hasn’t been settled, but I’d like to hope you’ll see him again.

Oh guys, I am so sorry for your loss. I know that your faithful friend will be missed greatly. I’ll be praying for the whole family & esp. the kids as they deal w/ this hard life lesson.

So sorry to hear that Sid is no longer with you! I can remember when you got him and Maggie. Losing a faithful companion is hard! We felt it strongly when we had to give Winston away. May his memory stay with you always!

I am sorry to hear Sid is gone. It must be so strange around your place without him.
(I am sorry I didn’t see this until now. I haven’t dropped by here in a couple weeks because of my own craziness.)
